Game 3 of the new season in which The Shambles had thus far won a game and lost a game.

Horse just had 5 players for tonight’s game, no subs.

Early in the game Worst shoots and scores from a good incisive Shambles move….1-0.

HRH was then was too casual in possession but quickly redeemed himself by covering a fair distance to block a shot with his body. All is forgiven HRH for that great effort.

Horse began to threaten the Shambles goal, a shot just missing the goal.

Blink then demonstrated a great turn and shot to just miss.

However, Horse came back into the game scoring following defensive confusion….1-1.

The game was now end to end.

Craig threaded a fine pass which HRH latched on to, in his inimitable “offensive defender” style, to make it 2-1. Good move boys.

However, the lead was short lived as a nice shot from a Horse player beat Clint in goal….2-2.

Flash made an appearance from the kick off with one of his long range efforts.

HRH was then guilty of leaving a player exposing the Shambles to a counter attack. No damage done….Forgiveness revoked HRH.

A good Will.I.Am through ball was met by HRH who connected like a Princess rather than a King, hitting the ball too softly.

The half ended with a Will long shot.

The Shambles were dominating but not taking advantage.

Horse started the second half the brighter and quickly took a 3-2 lead as the Shambles showed poor defensive technique after losing possession in attack. A gifted goal.

A Flash shot went close to restoring parity.

DISASTER……..Horse take a 4-2 lead and are in the ascendancy.

At last a Shambles attack as HRH scores a good goal to pull a goal back……4-3. Half forgiven, HRH.

However the joy was short lived as 5-man horse scored another carbon copy goal from a wide position, from the Same player….GROUNDHOG DAY……5-3.

Horse look in control….. even with only 5 players available.!!

The Shambles finally decided to rally. Worst struck a good long shot to go close.

Tragedy strikes for Horse as the GK’s clearance kick hit’s an oncoming Blink who arsed (according to him) the ball into the net….What a Cheek!!…5-4.

Just as Horse looked likely to hold out they gifted The Shambles an equalizer as a weak pass was intercepted in midfield…Goal……..5-5.

The Shambles gain a point having faced defeat to a depleted but battling Horse side.
