We're off and there's lots of running, like 10 chickens with their heads cut off. However it the OCs who calm down quicker. The Shambles failed to take advantage of a free-kick, instead sending the oppo on a breakaway......1-0....Oops, but not uncommon in Shambles history.

The Offensive defender had a shot saved. May be a reply was coming??

Nooooo-pe......Old Crowleonians still looked the more convincing as the Shambles engaged in some lightweight tackling. Capiitalising the Ocs took a 2-0 lead...a rarer event for the Shambles to suffer this season.

Time for a change. On came Blink.

The Bandit looked happy again...Reunited like they knew they would!!! The chemistry soon materialised as The Bandit laid on a pass for his bosom buddy.....Goooo-al....2-1....Sweet love.

The joy did not last long as the OCs scored from a tight angle.....Noooooooo.......3-1.

It was like filming a disaster movie. The brains were willing but thye bodies were weak....until now.

The Shambles took a quick free kick allowing the Bandit to strike.....Goooooo-al......3-2.

De bandit was on fire, Amigos.......A lethal left foot effort buried the ball in the net.....3-3. Half-time.

Each team regrouped and prepared for the second half.

The Shambles came out the stronger and The Bandit continued where he left off, hitting a right foot effort in to the net.....Goooooo-aal......4-3 to the Shambles.

The OCs still had the faith and scored again to equalise.......4-4.

Here comes Blink again...that boot ain't goin' nowhere without a fight Bandido...admittedly this one hit the GK and bobbled into the net, but they all count.....5-4.

A fine sweeping move then saw Worst ghost in. Surely the chance had gone, too tight an angle.....No way, excellent instep shot off Ol' faithful lefty....Goooooo-aaal....6-4.

However, this lead whilst welcome always looked at risk, and so it proved.

The OCs still believed and got their reward....6-5.

The Shambles still felt compelled to go for goal to seal the title and it was to prove costly. Another defensive lapse 6-6.

The final whistle blew sparing either side another defensive lapse.

I quickly exited the camera gantry, known as the bar,to film the post match comments. I was greeted by a bunch of hot, sweaty and disappointed faces. They felt deflated that Knowles now had the chance to take it to a final week. Some drifted off into the night, whilst those who remained went to await our destiny........
