Gentleman, I believe it is now the time to give someone else the chance to manage and captain the Shambles.
On both fronts I am clearly playing a role of little value these days. Having played only 3 games this season I do not think that I should be the one to hold these roles.
This season the tean has expanded and a different team has evolved, and it is now a team which has found its spirit, for the most part. To be honest, playing so little, I don't feel it's my place to keep fiddling about with team selection, potentially unsettling it. I know some players have felt confused at times by being left out to make way with others.
Walking out after Thursdays friendly I realised I felt more of a passenger, and i was going home having left my enthusiasm behind.
I am trying to persuade FLASH to take the roles.
Thanks for the adventure and go on and build upon what you have done. You are doing really well.
As for me, I may go on some time in the future to form another team, if i can find some mugs who fancy a challenge. Highly unlikely me thinks!! If I do though, perhaps it could be called 'Another Fine Mess' recognising the Shambles name & tradition.
Captain Gman signing out to probable retirement.

Captain Gman
I , for one am 100% behind you as Manager and Captain. As far as I am concerned you are doing a sterling job even if you havent played as much as you would have liked to. It is not easy trying to balance 10 players into a 7 man squad each week but we must all accept your decisions. I know I cant fill your shoes so I wont even attempt to. The whole point of the Shambles team is to go out and play footy with your mates and if we win , great but if we dont then we look to the next game while taking the p**s out of each other trying to find someone to blame!
My vote therefore goes to GMAN TO STAY
