At the risk of being "sent to Coventry", I am sad to say that I had to wait a few days to write this weeks report in order to calm down.

To those who came out after the game looking at not conceding in the first 2 or 3 mins as a positive I say....Don't. Unfortunately that is where you set the tone for the first half.

Every time I watch these games and get asked for an opinion, as soon as I speak honestly, there is a tendency for people to want to only hear positives and ignore any observations.

We have got to stop ball watching and play with a shape to the team. Forwards, when i say defend from the front I mean mark the men at the back to prevent the goalie having an easy throw out.

Follow the man not the play. our opponents often get men in unmarked.

Lads, i am guilty of these same mistakes at times. But defending has got to be focussed on.

Ending on a positive. The way you all played at the start of the second half showed you can compete with anyone on your day, but we need to maintain it for longer. That short comeback was a pleasure to watch. Give your team mates that level of performance this week and onwards.

I believe we can make a real effort at, and are capable of, beating more teams no matter who they are.
