Shambles went into this match hoping to earn some numbers to put on the board after the defeat on day 1 of the new season.
As soon as the whistle blew shambles mounted a series of blistering attacks without seriously dumb foundering the keeper. Shock! they were then punished for a black hole appearing in defence allowing BBQ to fumble home a soft goal which bobbled over the keepers on watching foot.
Shambles were rocked by this suckerpunch and soon conceeded a second goal when the spritely BBQ striker was allowed hectares of space down the right and fired the yellow ball of doom past the distraught keeper.
HALF TIME: Shambes 0 BBQ Crew 2
Surely it was time for a Shambles fight back and fightback they did with a spectacularly precise passing move from keeper, defence, midfield and cooly finished by James. It was nothing like watching Brazil but entertaining none the less.
What next a Shambles equaliser? Nope BBQ made it 3-1 when the fortuatous striker hit a fierce shot against the wall above the goal and hit a rifile of a shot straight passed the helpless keeper.
Shambles tried to huff and puff a way back into the match but they could not finsh the chances the created and conceed a 4th when Dave was caught in defence and the ball curiously beat the keeper..but who was the scorrer? was it a Dave O.G. or purhaps a sublimely poached effort from the BBQ Crew? answers on a post card!
The fifth goal late in the game just added insult to injury in a game where Shambles did not play all too bad but made a few mistakes which ultimately cost them the game. There is definately signs of a resurgence/ uprising due any game soon to be expected from the Shambles which could see them sending waves of positive intent to teams throughout the league...could such terror be instigated against BJH Motors 9:38 27/11/08? We live in hope.
