Shambles 2 : Pistol knights 3
Shambles 2 : Pistol knights 3

A hard fought victory looked on the cards for most of the game despite, following an early injury to one of the pistols team, The shambles then had to play against 6 men as they were on the receiving end of a host of harsh decisons.

Free kicks awarded against The Shambles, free kicks not given to The Shambles, Violent conduct not seen by the referee, A goal disallowed, a penalty not given and a new rule introduced where a free kick is given to the opposition if the "ball bouces of the back wall" all made the evening rather disappointing, although still entertaining.

Ultimately the Shambles should have played most of the game against 4 rather than 6 as Captain Carthorse was struck in the face but with the Mr fucking Magoo not seeing the fucking incident  the game ended in a rather undeserved loss. Consensus was that Pistols received the sympathy vote following their early injury, which goes to show just what a nice guy referee Dave is.

Whilst the referee had a bad game it has to be said The Shambles played very well, marking was close, tackles positive and runners were picked up. A goal keeping error lead to the equaliser from the spot and the other two goals were virtually all the Pistols offered up front.

Shambles, whilst positive and aggressive, lacked the finishing and whilst many a shot was nearly on target, nearly does not get the ball in the net.

A great goal by Graham another by Paul were high points as was the general defensive and commited display.

Unfortunately the losing streak continues but if The Shambles play like this the first victory (and second...) is not far away

Great summary. I really felt the author's emotinal conviction, emphasised by the great use of Anglo-Saxon
