The Shambles' bad start to the season continued with  yet another hard fought game . Captain Shirehorse STILL being on late night shopping duty was bad enough but to loose key defender and current top scorer Chris was yet another blow to the defensive back line. However nothing can be taken away from the stand in players Dan and Ryan who played admirably from the start helping to keep the scores goal-less for the first quarter of the game. Unfortunatly it was not to be Shambles' night again as the deadlock was broken by the young Blackpole side who played some slick football resulting in them being 3 - 0 up at half time.

The second half started as the first had finished  with The Blackpole  scoring again to make it 4-0. A comeback looked to be on the cards with the Shambles rallying and clinching a second half goal from Dave , scoring with an uncharacteristic left foot. The Blackpole stood firm and added another 2 to make the final score 6-1.

The Shambles played some good football and to be honest the score didnt really reflect the effort put in by all players . Lets hope the rot can stop here!
