Shambles loose again.

The Shambles were fielding a basic 5 this week due to: Ade's prolonged injury, Captain Shirehorse on late night shopping duty and also a failure to let striker Paul know what time we were playing! ( Damn those schoolboy errors!)

Tom, Dave,Graham,Ian and Chris had their work cut out for them from the start knowing that without any subs there would be no chance to rest old tired legs during the game. The game got off to a bad start with new keeper Tom giving away a penalty with an uncharacteristic error ( Stay inside your box Tom!).

Shambles ,1 nil down ,found themselves 2 down shortly after. Would this be a rout? Shambles didnt think so and all fought back well which soon produced first a goal from in form defender/striker Chris slotting home then a second from Ian. With the score level The Shambles sensed they may get at least a point out of the game but hopes were dashed when Halcrow scored again to make it 2 : 3 at half time.

 The second half carried on as the first had ended with Halcrow adding a fourth then a fifth goal to their talley. Shambles battled hard which resulted with Chris scoring his second goal via a great pass from Dave. Too little too late as Halcrow added a sixth prior to the final whistle.
