What a difference having subs makes!!

The Shambles were back to full strength and did it show. A Fantastic team performance saw each and every member contributing to a convincing victory over old foes Horse FC. The Shambles started strong , passing well and playing like they wanted the victory more. A great team passing move ended with Dave continung his revitalised scoring prowess by slotting in the opening goal. Some great tactical substitutions and slick play lead to new signing Chris scoring the second just prior to half time.

The second half started as the first had finished with The Shambles continuing to dominate .Horse never really got a look in as key man Geoff was marked out of the game by Captain Shire horse Tim with his ever physical presence. The odd shot on the Shambles' goal was easily covered by keeper James, who pulled off some class saves to deny any attempt at a comeback.

Another great pass by Capt Shirehorse down the edge of the pitch was met by a turn and first touch rocket shot to the back of the net by Dave to make it 3 up , then a great finish by last seasons top scorer Carlos, virtually killed off any chance of a result for Horse.

This was without a doubt one of the best team performances by The Shambles who pretty much dominated the game. Roll on the next game!
